New Major Release of ÖKOTEC Software EnEffCo®

EnEffCo Major Software Release

On 08.12.2020 ÖKOTEC published a major release of their software for energy efficiency controlling EnEffCo®. In addition to the Sankey display for a clear visualization of the energy flow, other modules have been released. A variety of highlights such as the heatmap as a new chart type, deep links on plant level in evaluations and the introduction of an approval process by a selected user for reports extend the basic functionalities for users.

Module Networking – smart tool as basis for CO2 issues

Our smart networking tool has proven to be very suitable in various projects to create time-saving evaluations, presentations and reports for e.g. CO2 and energy balances of full and partial systems as well as assessments of CO2 emissions per site, product, process or technology.

Via a graphical input option, the data points of the expenditure, benefits of the assets and the prices of the expenditure of the input assets can be allocated by drag and drop. The calculation and illustration for different applications is done automatically. On the one hand, this saves time for users and, on the other hand, the tool enables the mapping of networked, complex systems or processes.

With EnEffCo®, companies have a powerful tool to map CO2 and other relevant greenhouse gas emissions in the plant or for the group of companies in accordance with the Greenhouse Gas Protocol, to manage significant energy users (SEU), measures and savings. Since CO2realtime, product-specific CO2 evaluations for continuous and batch processes are also possible.

Innovative software solution from practice for practice

EnEffCo® was developed in various research and development projects in cooperation with companies and has been successfully on the market since fall 2013. ÖKOTEC’s expert knowledge of process and plant engineering from numerous energy efficiency and saving projects has been incorporated into the development.

The software solution is in use at more than 160 production and 1,000 buisness locations with around 400,000 data points in Germany and abroad, including BMW, Bumüller Back, Daimler, Hydro Aluminium and Kerrygold.
