Daimler relies on EnEffCo® for energy management
At the end of 2018, Daimler began rolling out EnEffCo® in more than 15 plants worldwide. The rollout will initially focus on Europe, with several hundred thousand metering points to be connected worldwide. The Daimler plant in Berlin Marienfelde has already been successfully using EnEffCo® as software for energy efficiency controlling for years.
EnEffCo® has been on the market since 2013 and is the software of choice for energy efficiency controlling at over 800 locations for customers such as BASF, BMW, Bumüller Back, Mondi Gronau, Kerrygold and Nordenhamer Zinkhütte. The software, which was developed in-house, is particularly popular with companies that have several sites and different user groups, as it can be optimally managed thanks to its multi-client capability. Furthermore, energy reports with company key figures can be automated per location, for defined units or for the entire group.
With EnEffCo® , energy managers always maintain an overview of relevant plants, components, systems and efficiency potentials. The innovative core of EnEffCo® are key figures in combination with dynamic plant monitoring: Energy data can be systematically recorded, monitored and evaluated at plant and process level. Unnecessarily increased energy consumption can thus be quickly counteracted, potential for savings can be analyzed, for example, via benchmarking, and proof of implemented measures can be provided. Modular extensions are possible in the areas of CO2 and load management, automated control and regulation, and flexibility management.
EnEffCo® meets the data management requirements of ISO 50001 and DIN EN ISO 16247 as well as the ISO 50006 and ISO 50015 standards. The use of EnEffCo® can help companies both to improve their competitive position through reduced energy costs in production and to meet climate protection and reporting requirements of stakeholders.
Depending on requirements, EnEffCo® experts also support their customers in the application to implement a systematic increase in efficiency in operation: From monitoring and analyzing energy data, creating individual reports to technical planning, conception and support of savings measures.
