Automotive manufacturer focuses on resource conservation
EnEffCo® has been awarded the contract by the BMW Group for the digitalization of energy management. The software for energy efficiency controlling will be successively deployed at 16 locations worldwide. By mid-2020, 100,000 meter points will be connected. The overall goal of the project is the continuous reduction of energy and water consumption as well as CO2 emissions in production.
The decisive factor for the selection of EnEffCo® was that the software meets the set requirements for energy data collection, processing and visualization. In addition, EnEffCo® has a clear focus on energy and resource efficiency in production and fully and legally complies with the requirements for an energy management system according to DIN EN ISO 50001. In particular, the consideration of KPIs on the basis of reference data and the target group-specific creation of reports to meet various reporting obligations provide support in this regard. EnEffCo® is also intended to promote the use of energy industry potential by optimizing the procurement and marketing of flexibilities.
