Networks are an important building block in the National Action Plan for Energy Efficiency (NAPE) for achieving the German government’s energy and climate protection targets and offer companies a wide range of benefits. ÖKOTEC has initiated and founded over 60 networks since 2004. This year sees the launch of several networks in which you can actively participate.
The aim of participating in a network is for each participating company to benefit from the professional exchange and to achieve an increase in energy efficiency, a reduction in energy costs and CO2 emissions and to support compliance with normative or regulatory requirements such as DIN EN ISO 50001, the Energy Efficiency Act (EnEfG) or the reporting obligation under the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD).
Participation in the following networks is still possible:
Network for the Introduction of an Energy Management Network in Accordance with ISO 50001
As part of the Energy Efficiency Act (EnEfG) passed at the end of 2023, many companies will have to meet additional requirements. For example, companies with a total annual energy consumption of more than 7.5 GWh are also obliged to introduce an energy or environmental management system in accordance with ISO 50001 or EMAS. Are you affected by this? We can support you with our network in introducing the system on time. Benefit from our experience. The energy management team at ÖKOTEC has successfully supported over 200 customers in the introduction of energy management systems in accordance with ISO 50001 right through to certification.
Duration for the network introduction of energy management: Q3 2024 – Q1 2025 (9 months)
Overview
4 Network meetings in Berlin or digital
Moderated exchange of experiences and specialist presentations on key topics as part of the introduction (including context and goals, energetic assessment, economic efficiency assessment and preparation for the audit)
CSRD Readiness: Network for Companies Subject to Reporting Requirements
In late summer / fall 2024, the “CSRD Readiness Network” will be launched by ÖKOTEC and selected specialist partners (sustainability reporting, social affairs and auditing). Term for the CSRD Readiness network: 01.10.2024 – 30.11.2027 (approx. 12 months)
Overview
4 network meetings (1-2 in Berlin, all other meetings digital)
Each network meeting has a technical focus, including double materiality (1st meeting), environment, especially climate change (2nd meeting), social, especially supply chain and workforce (3rd meeting) and data management, reporting and external audit (4th meeting)
Moderated exchange of experiences and specialist presentations by experienced consultants
Evaluation of your sustainability performance based on the ESRS criteria and comprehensive sustainability scoring and benchmarking via our partner Score4More
Peer to peer learning of the participants between the network meetings
