Susanne Schmidt Almeida holds a Master of Science in Technical Environmental Protection. She contributes to the ÖKOTEC team as a senior consultant on climate protection topics. In addition to the preparation and updating of greenhouse gas balances, she advises our clients in particular on the definition of climate protection targets and the preparation and implementation of a climate protection strategy.

What is special about working at ÖKOTEC?
As a medium-sized company, ÖKOTEC is the ideal size for me – through my work, I can support companies of all sizes on their way to climate neutrality, but I don’t have such rigid structures as in large corporations, and I know everybody on our team by name.
I chose my field because….
because I want to find ways to save the world!
What motivates me at work…
is the variety in my tasks. My work is complex and specialized. At the same time, I keep an eye on the big picture. Juggling this mix and tailoring it specifically to the respective needs and wishes of our customers is a motivating challenge.
If my work were a movie…
then there should be a happy ending, and that’s what I’m working towards every day.
