Sales Manager Energy-Software (m/w/d)

With our business activities, we make a significant contribution to limiting global climate change, to the success of the energy transition and to the decarbonization of economic activity. We support our customers with various consulting services and with our self-developed software solution EnEffCo® for energy efficiency controlling.
As Sales Manager Energy-Software you will manage the acquisition process for our software solution EnEffCo® in three exciting customer segments:
- New customer acquisition based on our extensive contacts, networks and incoming inquiries
- Up-selling to our EnEffCo® customers
- Cross-selling to the existing customers in our consultancy business
What the role entails
- Communication with those responsible for the individual customer segments
- Assessment of customer needs and requirements and identification of the appropriate solution
- Presentation of EnEffCo® via video conference and on site (presentation and demo)
- Preparation of proposals and responsibility for tenders applications with support of the back-office team
- Collaboration with our subject matter experts to clarify customer requirements
- Participation in the development and implementation of our customer acquisition strategies
What we are looking for
- Completed studies (technical, commercial or communication) or comparable professional experience
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in B2B sales of products requiring explanation, preferably in the field of software, sensor technology and energy efficiency
- Software affinity and basic technical understanding (ideally for energy and MSR topics)
- High social competence and very good communication skills, both written and spoken
- Structured, independent, solution- and result-oriented way of working
- Distinct customer-oriented and economic thinking
- Very good knowledge of German and English
