Automation of processes and smart analyses
Review of the EnEffCo® Academy 2024
A highlight for ÖKOTEC every year: the user conference for our EnEffCo® software. Users from industrial and commercial enterprises, experts from ÖKOTEC and partner companies come together for this event once a year.
The EnEffCo® Academy took place in Berlin for the tenth time this year. The focus was on process automation, smart analyses, savings potential and the digital implementation of compliance requirements.

This year, the companies Ineos Köln, PlastiLoop and Innospec presented successful projects from the field, including projects on flexibility and peak load management, energy cost reduction and cooling tower optimization.
Many of the users were attending the event again. They value the opportunity to share experiences with other companies and to engage in personal dialog with experts from the ÖKOTEC team. This is because the combination of consulting expertise and the EnEffCo® software application makes it possible to quickly find solutions for operational applications.
Another focus was the topic of waste heat. Using waste heat in your own operations offers the opportunity to reduce energy costs and advance decarbonization. In addition, the Energy Efficiency Act (EnEfG) requires companies to analyse their waste heat potential that is not used by the company itself and to make this information available to third parties on the waste heat platform. Our experts presented how the topics listed above can be implemented smarter and in compliance with standards using EnEffCo®.
