Support Science Based Targets Initiative Process

ÖKOTEC helped the STI Group commit to the climate targets of the Science Based Targets Initiative (SBTi) for seven production sites in four countries. ÖKOTEC planned and modeled the net-zero pathway for the entire STI Group in close cooperation and with the help of its calculation tool.

The Challenge

The STI Group is a leading manufacturer of sustainable, innovative and creative packaging and POS solutions. Sustainability is firmly anchored in the DNA of this family-owned company. The group has committed to the long-term goal of achieving net-zero emissions. Its ambitious climate targets have been officially validated by the Science Based Targets Initiative (SBTi). ÖKOTEC planned and modeled the reduction pathway for the entire STI Group in close cooperation.

ÖKOTEC successfully guided us through the SBTi process with expertise and commitment. The project was challenging, but thanks to their valuable support, we achieved outstanding results.
