Dr. Christoph Zschocke is the Founder and Managing Partner of ÖKOTEC Energiemanagement and leads EnEffCo®, Public Affairs and Business Development. The biologist with a doctorate degree sees himself as an innovator of strategic products and a source of inspiration for his team and his customers. Early on, he recognized the opportunities of digitalization and developed new ways of increasing energy efficiency in cooperation with industrial clients utilizing the software solution EnEffCo®.

About Dr. Christoph Zschocke
For decades, I have been committed to the environment and climate protection and to ensuring alignment of policy and commercial objectives for industry – whether through my involvement in the Energy Policy Commission of Family Businesses e. V., as a member of the Energy and Environment Committee of the Berlin Chamber of Industry and Commerce, or as a Founding Board Member of the German Initiative for Energy Efficiency e. V. (DENEFF).
Which project was special?
The research and development project EnEffCo®! The goal was to develop an innovative and scalable software solution for monitoring energy efficiency and energy conservation, and we achieved that.
What client feedback motived you on the most?
The enthusiasm of a customer from the steel industry. This customer was able to achieve considerable energy and cost savings in a rolling process thanks to EnEffCo®. By using EnEffCo® the monitoring of the plant could be done in significantly greater detail through the analysis of temporal intervals enabling inefficiencies to be identified and eliminated.
