About Dr. Hans Rüdiger Lange
What motivates you in your work?
I am motivated by working on tailor-made technical solutions for client projects, for clients ranging from the Black Forest to China. We enable our clients to save resources and drive climate change forward with intelligent technologies and innovative savings measures. It is an extremely exciting job, both from an entrepreneurial and technological perspective! Achieving important goals with interesting people – what more could you want?
I am a physicist and business economist because…
I want to work on the major challenges and latest technical developments of my time. And I want to do so in a technologically innovative and economically effective way. That’s why I chose physics and business administration. And that’s why, in 2021, I joined ÖKOTEC VEOLIA to take on a double challenge: implementing machine intelligence for greater efficiency and a successful climate transition for our industrial customers worldwide.
What are the biggest challenges facing our customers in meeting climate protection targets?
Climate protection is challenging because it is only ecological if we implement it in an economically sustainable way. With our solutions, we want to ensure both for our Clients – increasing competitiveness and advancing decarbonization.
