EnEffCo® has been used at the Hanover, Germany site with over 250 license datapoints since 2021 to further develop and digitalize energy and data management. In addition, VSM – Vereinigte Schmirgel- und Maschinen-Fabriken AG wants to use EnEffCo® to identify and implement potential savings.
The challenge
VSM – Vereinigte Schmirgel- und Maschinen-Fabriken AG manufactures high-tech precision abrasives on a flexible base for industrial applications. The internationally active company based in Hanover wanted to further develop and digitalize its energy management and identify and implement potential savings.

- Transfer of existing reports to EnEffCo®, automated updating and online integration as well as analysis of SEUs
- EnEffCo®-based analyses to identify savings measures, check their cost-effectiveness and verify them using real measured values, e.g. optimized operation of production facilities
- Simulation of load profiles of new air compressors in EnEffCo® with historical and manufacturer data for decision-making on new purchases
- Analysis and use of existing waste heat sources, e.g. construction of a heating network
- Peak Load Management structure
