M.Sc. Mandy Preuß
Mandy Preuß started at ÖKOTEC as a working student during her master’s degree in industrial engineering. Today, she is a Junior Consultant for technical consulting and carries out energy analyses and energy audits in accordance with EDL-G. The trained optician also advises Berlin-based companies on energy efficiency and climate protection. The latter is a service offered by the Coordination Office for Circular Economy, Energy Efficiency and Climate Protection in Companies (KEK), of which Mandy Preuß is a permanent team member.

What is special about working at ÖKOTEC?

I chose my specialization because…
I actually trained as an optician and worked in this profession for several years. Then I decided to study industrial engineering. I first specialized in production engineering, then in energy and environmental resources. This gave me the knowledge to see the big picture and help companies become more efficient in many areas.
