M.Sc. Curd Schade
Curd Schade is a Master of Science in Sustainable Energy Systems and Markets and an industrial engineer specialising in energy and resources. He joined ÖKOTEC as a working student. As a Consultant Energy Markets and Digital Analytics, he is involved in modelling energy systems to calculate energy forecasts and evaluating and implementing flexible operating strategies at industrial sites. Curd Schade is also part of the “EnEffNet” research and development project, which provides a digital networking platform for implementing innovative efficiency approaches in companies.
About Curd Schade
My contribution to increasing energy efficiency and achieving climate protection goals:
Through my work, I create transparency about energy consumption and optimize the use of systems.
Which project was special?
My first project at ÖKOTEC with the protein snack manufacturer Jack Link’s. It was about controlling combined heat and power plants with EnEffCo®. Although the project was very complex, I received extremely good customer feedback right away.
What are the biggest challenges our customers face in meeting climate change targets?
Highly complex structures and production systems, some of which have evolved over decades, are encountering an increasingly dynamic energy sector that requires adaptation and flexibility on the consumer side, i.e. our customers.
ÖKOTEC contributes to this by…
digitizing industrial sites to create transparency, identifying scalable savings potential and optimally controlling systems on both the generation and consumption sides.
